1. Free period
Every new organization gets its chosen plan free for 3 months (up to 50 users) or 1.5 months (more than 50 users). No card or payment is taken to start it. If you decide Aajar is not for you, simply stop using it: there is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund, because nothing was charged.
2. How paid plans are billed
- Paid plans are priced per user per month and billed in advance for the period you choose (monthly, every three months or yearly).
- We issue a tax invoice with a payment link. Aajar does not charge your card or bank account automatically. A renewal is a new invoice that you may pay or ignore.
- You can pay online, or by bank transfer or UPI and submit the payment details, which we confirm. Your paid period starts the day after your current period (or free period) ends, or on the day we confirm payment if you were already past the end date.
- Prices exclude GST and other taxes, which are shown separately on the invoice.
3. Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time, with no cancellation fee. Because we never renew automatically, cancelling can be as simple as not paying the next invoice. If you would like us to close the organization, tell us through the Help & contact form from the Owner's email address.
- After you cancel, you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- When a plan ends, there is a short grace period (shown in the app) and then the dashboard is paused. Your records are kept for a reasonable time so you can come back or export them, and are permanently deleted when you ask us to delete the organization.
- You can add or reduce users, or move to another plan, when you place your next order. A change takes effect from the period that order covers.
4. When we give a refund
Once a paid period has started, the amount paid for it is not refundable, except in these cases:
- Duplicate payment. You were charged twice for the same invoice, or for an invoice you had already paid by another method.
- Incorrect charge. The amount charged is more than the invoice or the price shown to you when you ordered (for example the wrong number of users, plan, billing period or tax), in which case we refund the difference.
- Payment taken, service not provided. We received your payment but could not activate the plan, and we are unable to fix that.
- Unauthorised payment. A payment was made from your account without your authority and you tell us promptly.
- Failed transactions. If your account was debited but the payment did not complete, the payment provider normally reverses the amount automatically within 5 to 7 working days. If it does not, contact us with the transaction reference and we will help you chase it.
We may also, at our discretion, give a full or partial refund or credit in other situations, such as a long outage that was our fault. Doing so once does not create a right to it later. Nothing in this policy limits a refund or remedy you are entitled to by law.
5. How to ask for a refund
- Send a request through the Help & contact form within 30 days of the charge. Start the description with “Refund” and include your organization name, the invoice number and the payment reference.
- We will reply within 2 working days and may ask for proof of payment (such as a bank statement line or UTR number).
- Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method or, for a bank transfer or UPI payment, to the account it came from. They usually reach you within 7 to 10 working days of approval; your bank may take a little longer.
- The GST on the refunded amount is refunded with it, and we issue a credit note where the law requires one. Payment-gateway fees are not charged to you for a refund we owe you.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a problem with a payment, please contact us first so that we can put it right quickly. Disputing a valid payment with your bank may delay a resolution and may lead us to suspend the account while the dispute is open.
7. Delivery of the service
Aajar is a digital service delivered online. Nothing is shipped. A paid plan is activated as soon as online payment is confirmed, and within one to two working days for bank-transfer or UPI payments that we have to confirm by hand. The plan's features then appear in the app automatically.
