1. Use Aajar for lawful workforce management
Use Aajar to manage your own workforce: attendance, leave, payroll and related HR work. Do not use it for anything unlawful, deceptive or harmful, or in a way that breaks the rights of others.
2. Rules for tracking, location and biometric data
Attendance tools collect personal data about employees. If you are an employer using Aajar you must:
- tell your employees what is recorded (check-in times, location at check-in if geofencing is on, biometric punches) and why, and get any consent the law requires, before you start;
- collect only what you need. Do not turn on geofencing or biometric devices for people who have not been told, and do not use attendance data to watch people covertly or outside working time;
- keep access to salary and personal records to the few people who need it, using the Owner, Admin, HR and Employee roles properly;
- not use Aajar's records to discriminate unlawfully, or to take action against a person that the law does not allow.
3. What you must not do
- Try to see, change or delete another organization's data, or look for a way around the limits of your own role or plan.
- Share logins between people, or log in as someone else without their knowledge and the organization's approval.
- Test the security of Aajar, scan it, or try to break in, without our written permission. (Reporting a problem you came across is welcome: see the Security Overview.)
- Overload the service, for example with automated requests, bulk sign-ups or scripts that interfere with other customers.
- Upload malware, or unlawful, defamatory, obscene or infringing content, or documents you have no right to hold.
- Fake attendance, edit records dishonestly, or enter false data to mislead an employee, an auditor or an authority.
- Copy, resell or build a competing service from Aajar, scrape it, or reverse engineer it, except as the law permits.
- Use the Help form, chat assistant or invitation emails to send spam or abuse.
- Create an organization on behalf of a company that has not authorised you, or give false details when signing up.
4. Reporting and enforcement
If you see something that breaks these rules, tell us through the Help & contact form. We may investigate, remove content, limit features, suspend or end an account, and tell the authorities where the law requires. Where reasonable and safe we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right. We are not obliged to monitor what customers do, but may look into an issue to keep the service safe.
Breaking this policy is a breach of the Terms of Service.
